LONDON (Brand Republic) - Dell Computer has awarded its $150m-$200m (£104.43m-£139.25m) media and creative account to DDB Worldwide, Chicago, after a six-way review.
It is believed the Omnicom Group-owned agency will split the work with its sister media agency OMD in New York. DDB also picks up the corporate brand account which had been handled by Omnicom sibling BBDO Worldwide, New York.
Dell launched the review after splitting with BBDO in New York in February. Lowe Lintas & Partners, New York, which handled Dell鈥檚 creative and media work for the retail market, took part along with Temerlin McClain, Texas, and media shops Carat in New York and Starcom MediaVest Group, Chicago.
During the review, the agencies were tasked with presenting various concepts for different media that related to the company鈥檚 range of products across niche markets.
