The second #RooRescue campaign will begin on 29 February and visit students in Leeds, Sheffield, Manchester, Chester and Liverpool.
Brand ambassadors will visit student night clubs and accommodation to ‘rescue’ those suffering from a hangover with takeaway food from restaurants. Deliveroo will be encouraging the young audience to take selfies with their Roo Team, with free company credit on offer to win to those who post the best shot on the brand’s dedicated student Facebook page.
Students could also partake in free t-shirt giveaways.
The first part of the tour, which ended on 11 February, visited York, Newcastle, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Aberdeen. It saw the brand engage with 12,000 students and create 300,000 impressions online.
Nick Hodgson, marketing manager at Deliveroo, said: "We collaborated seamlessly with the Raptor team on our #RooRescue campaign, as though they were an extension of Deliveroo. They were extremely driven, using their extensive network and great understanding of our brand to deliver fantastic results.
"The Raptor team worked tirelessly throughout the campaign to deliver our #RooRescue brand messaging, engage our student consumers and achieve KPIs."
