Agency Deeper Blue has secured a deal that will see it produce all of Vauxhall Motors' live events for the next two years.

The London-based firm, fronted by two ex-Jack Morton staffers, came out on top in a competitive bid process.

The contract covers all live events for both Vauxhall and Chevrolet brands in the UK, and represents Vauxhall’s preference to place its live event business with a single agency.

"Our business is too fast moving to accommodate the time to pitch for every project," said Vauxhall marketing operations manager Keith Michaels. "We want to create a closer partnership with our chosen lead agencies so that they truly understand our brand, and we can trust them to deliver every time.

"Deeper Blue has demonstrated they not only have the experience, but the desire to bring new ideas to life – all at a time when we are challenging ourselves to raise the bar and make Vauxhall the number one automotive brand in the UK. Over the past 12 months Deeper Blue has supported Vauxhall on a number of key campaigns including the launch of the New Astra and the critically acclaimed TV Ad announcing Vauxhall’s innovative ’Lifetime Warranty’.

Planning is already underway for a number of key communications in the first half of the year.
