Debenhams set to reinstate mag

Debenhams is launching a customer magazine three years after it axed its last publication following a review of its marketing budget.

The magazine, titled Desire, has been created with Publicis Blueprint and will be distributed free five times a year from November in stores and to account cardholders. Its circulation is estimated to be 1m.

Desire is described as the 'embodiment' of the store's 'Styling the nation' campaign, launched in March through ad agency WCRS.

Its previous title, which debuted in 1997 through John Brown, was revamped in 2000 as People in Fashion, then dropped in 2001.
