De la Fosse named Ogilvy & Mather's group CCO

Ogilvy & Mather Group UK has promoted Emma de la Fosse, the joint chief creative officer at OgilvyOne EMEA, as its first group chief creative officer.

De la Fosse named Ogilvy & Mather's group CCO

The creation of the role follows O&M Group moving into a single office in Sea Containers on London’s South Bank, and de la Fosse has been charged with improving creative integration among the agencies.

De la Fosse will assume the new role in May and report to Annette King, the chief executive of O&M Group UK. The creative leaders in the group agencies, including O&M’s Mick Mahoney, are likely to have a dotted line to de la Fosse.

OgilvyOne promoted de la Fosse to joint chief creative officer across EMEA in 2014 alongside her creative partner and husband, Charlie Wilson. The pair had been the executive creative directors of its London agency since 2011.

King said: "Emma is courageous, curious and has a brilliant creative mind. Her knowledge and experience span direct, brand advertising, digital and tech – a rare mix of skills that enable her to develop the very best work from even the toughest of briefs.

"In this new role, Emma will work with the group to develop further our creative product and help the teams work on briefs without borders for existing and new clients."
