The firm has been working with Farnborough International since March top produce what has become Europe’s largest temporary exhibition space.

"The Farnborough International Airshow continues to be a logistically complex assignment for De Boer, not least because of the huge number of structures required and the vast range of different products being used," said De Boer project manager Liz Routh.

By the time the airshow opens, De Boer – which is working on the show for the eighth time – will have transported more than 200 articulated lorry loads of equipment, and its structures will weigh 3,600 tonnes.
