DDB picks up £3m Cadbury Mini Rolls ad brief

DDB London has been handed a £3 million project for Cadbury Mini Rolls without a pitch. DDB is developing a television and poster campaign that will be rolled out from mid-September.

The win further strengthens DDB's position on the RHM roster . It already works on RHM's Hovis brand and was involved in the final stage of the Mr Kipling pitch last May - the account was won by WCRS.

Manor Bakeries, a part of RHM, owns the Mini Rolls brand, which has not had a retained agency since it parted company with Saatchi & Saatchi last year.

Matt Day, the head of marketing for Manor Bakeries, said: "DDB London is a natural partner for us on this project. Its creative and innovative expertise complements our brand motivation."

Universal McCann, RHM's media agency, will handle the planning and buying on the Mini Rolls campaign.
