DC Shoes' online film of a motocross rider using a converted dirt bike to surf waves has gone viral.

The spot shows Robbie Maddison, a motocross and stunt rider, sufing giant waves in Tahiti on a dirt bike fitted with skis. Maddison has said the stunt took two years to pull off, including time spent developing the bike. Deven Stephens, the creative director at DC Shoes, is listed as the director for the film, which has amassed nearly 11 million views since being released on 2 August.
