The contract, which begins in February 2011 at Aero India, will see DB partner with Rapiergroup to design bespoke IT and AV solutions for BAE Systems’ exhibits around the world.
"BAE Systems is one of the largest defence companies in the world so I am delighted that Rapiergroup has awarded DB this contract," said DB managing director David Bulley.
"It was a tough tender process but I believe our experience working in the aerospace industry, ability to develop creative solutions, and track record of providing first class IT and AV support on a global basis, were the key factors to our successful pitch," he added.
Rapiergroup group operations director Chris Whittaker said: "We signed following an very intense tender process in which DB demonstrated again it was the correct partner. Even though DB was the incumbent it managed to re-invented itself, offering continued value and an added dimension of support."
