Scoot (www.scoot.com), Fish4 (www.fish4.co.uk) and Homemovers (www.homemovers.
co.uk) plan to boost their revenue by offering potential home movers access to a detailed property database.
The database, e-series property, is owned by Experian, a division of UK-based Great Universal Stores. Home movers will be able to access details such as house prices and various demographic data by area. Some of the information has previously only been available to insurance companies.
The companies will charge for some information and provide some free of charge, said an Experian spokesperson.
