Data Processing Direct relaunches as Thinkdata

LONDON - Data management firm Thinkdata has opened for business today following its relaunch from Data Processing Direct with an extended range of services.

The relaunch follows a 12-month review of the business culminating in a management buyout by managing director Keith Adams, IT director Kevin Tweedie, sales director David Beardmore, and data analysis director Steve Hulme.

Among the new offering is data analysis, which will be overseen by Hulme.

He said: "Our focus will be on providing pro-active, practical analytics that will help clients achieve their commercial goals. We accomplish this by delivering solutions through analysis rather than delivering just analysis -- I've seen much analytical work fail to deliver benefits because no consideration has been given to implementation."

Thinkdata has inherited a number of clients from DPD including Royal London, Cheshire Building Society and Equanim.
