
The redesigned packs, by agency Pearlfisher, feature images of cartoon animals with chocolate-button eyes.
Cadbury's has also altered the packaging for its Giant Buttons range, which now features two large chocolate-button eyes peering from the pack.
The cartoon images and the use of bright colour against the brand's familiar purple background enhance the playful nature of the brand, according to Cadbury.
Cadbury Dairy Milk brand manager Sandie Dilger said: ‘The redesign ensures Cadbury continues to bring a smile to the faces of our customers.'
