CRR ruling delayed until February

LONDON - The Competition Commission has delayed its decision on Contract Rights Renewal (CRR) until February next year.

CRR ruling delayed until February

A spokes person said the reason for the delay was down to the ‘significant submissions which are being considered carefully'.

Unlike many inquiries, the CRR ruling does not have a statutory time limit. The spokesperson said that because of this it is difficult to call time on submissions even if they come quite late in the day.

There will be an interim stage before the final announcement where the commission will set out its proposed final decision.
