Creature has won Zoopla Property Group's creative account after its second attempt at pitching for the business.

Zoopla began searching for an agency in July and held a competitive pitch. 101 also took part in the process, which was run by Zoopla directly.

The digital property business was forced to split with its previous agency, Albion, after buying the price-comparison site uSwitch. The acquisition created a conflict for Albion, which already worked with Comparethemarket.com.

Albion won Zoopla’s creative account in 2013, when it had an annual media spend of £4 million. The agency won a pitch against BMB and Creature. The business was previously held by VCCP Blue.

Zoopla is the number-two property portal in the UK, after Rightmove.

Gareth Helm, Zoopla's chief marketing officer, said: "These are exciting times for Zoopla and this is just the start of a wave of new activity coming through over the months. We've found the perfect partner in Creature who will help us build on our previous campaigns and create a step change in ZPG's marketing direction.
