These creative tech ideas won top honours at Future Lions student contest in Cannes

This year’s Future Lions, AKQA’s global undergraduate competition that aims to discover new creative talent, awarded five student teams. The theme encouraged participants to create tomorrow and explore recent advances in technology.

The 13th year of the competition attracted more than 2,290 participants from 386 schools across 55 countries, making it the biggest Future Lions so far.

Sweden’s Berghs School of Communication was named Future Lions School of the Year for the fifth year in a row after providing more shortlisted finalists than any other school.

Winners received registration to Cannes Lions and their ideas were showcased at the Palais des Festivals.

Snap Inc. and global youth empowerment organisation MiSK Foundation were the official partners of Future Lions 2018.
