Coty set to add two fragrances to men's range

Coty, the cosmetics and skincare company, is launching two men's fragrances to establish a greater product presence in the designer market and broaden its appeal.

Davidoff Deep will launch next month, backed by a £1m outdoor and print campaign created by US agency Select. It will also run in-store activity, with 1.5 million scent strips distributed in shops that stock the fragrance.

As one of Coty's 'selective' scents, Deep will be available from department stores and Boots, alongside its existing Cool Water fragrance.

Davidoff is to be one of the official sponsors of the 2004 Athens Olympic Games in August.

Kenneth Cole Black also debuts in March, in Harvey Nichols and the Kenneth Cole store in London. Kenneth Cole already has a range of designer fragrances in the US.

Coty has earmarked celebrity fragrances as a key market for growth. It recently launched the Jennifer Lopez perfume Still JLo as well as Celine Dion Notes in the UK.
