Corona will be the official partner of the three-day event at Earl’s Court, which kicks off on 25 June.

The brand will set up a ‘designer beach’ at the entrance to the event, with sand, DJs and models in beachwear.

Angel Gracia Gomez, head of Corona Extra in the UK, said: "We are delighted to be participating in the Clothes Show London, one of the fashion world’s highlights of the year. This year’s event represents a new wave of activity for Corona Extra in the UK, which strengthens the brand’s relationship with chic fashion-conscious adults."

The sponsorship deal was brokered for the beer’s distributor Wells and Young's by media agency Equinox.

Corona's targeting of women comes ahead of rival , and follows beer brand Carlsberg's launch of a fruit-based alcoholic drink called Eve, with a £3m marketing campaign.
