Cordiant acquires identity consultancy for £30m

Cordiant Communications Group is to acquire London corporate identity and design consultancy Bamber Forsyth in a deal that could be worth as much as £30m.

LONDON (Brand Republic) – Cordiant Communications Group is to acquire London corporate identity and design consultancy Bamber Forsyth in a deal that could be worth as much as £30m.

CCG, which owns Bates Worldwide and 50% of Zenith Media, will make an initial payment of 2,368,435 new shares. The £30m price tag on Bamber Forsyth will depend on the company’s financial performance to 2004.

Bamber Forsyth’s clients include BAA, BT, Diageo, Emap, Edexcel, Glaxo Wellcome, Kiss FM, Reckitt & Colman and Whitbread.
