Conde Nast's Vogue survey shows style titles are influential

Conde Nast has published its Vogue Style Survey, a study of 2,500 magazine-reading ABC1 women.

Highlights include the finding that magazines are the most influential medium to this audience, with 67 per cent saying they are influenced by magazines' mix of editorial and advertising.

Vogue's survey also shows women in this category are more likely to buy designer labels now than at any time.

Fragrance purchase is driven by glossy magazines, with 79 per cent saying magazines are their primary influence.

Readers also say brands are more desirable if advertised in a glossy magazine, with 75 per cent saying brands benefit from ads in Vogue, 48 per cent in Glamour and 45 per cent in Cosmopolitan.
