Trader Monthly is a magazine for City traders. It was originally published by Conde Nast International in the UK, but The Wall Street Journal Europe is taking over as the co-publisher of the magazine, in partnership with Doubledown Media, which founded the title and produces all the editorial.
Price had headed advertising at Trader Monthly in his role of advertising director for Conde Nast's contract publishing division.
At The Wall Street Journal Europe, he will continue working on the title, as well as leading advertising sales for the co-publishing agreement between the WSJE and Dealmaker magazine, the magazine for investment bankers due to be launched by Doubledown in the UK next year.
He will also sell special UK advertising packages encompassing Trader Monthly, The Wall Street Journal Europe and Style Journal, its quarterly fashion and luxury magazine.
Price has 10 years' experience in the industry, starting his career at Dennis Publishing and working on titles including the launch of Business 2.0 at Future and the online start-up Netimperative.com. Before joining Conde Nast, Price was at Director magazine, the in-house title for the Institute of Directors.
The Wall Street Journal Europe signed an agreement to produce, distribute and handle sales for Trader Monthly in the UK last week. The title was founded in 2004.
