What is it? A purpose-built conference centre situated near Manchester Airport, and built around BA's flagship Concorde. The venue was officially launched on 25 February, and welcomed its first guests early this month.
What's it got? The venue incorporates the 1,600sqm Concorde Hall auditorium, which can hold up to 1,500 guests for a reception, along with a range of five flexible break-out spaces with capacities up to 80. Three of these event locations are actual aircraft interiors. The Training Room, with its aircraft seating, has space for up to 30 guests, while the front section of a preserved DC-10 provides a further 35 seats for presentations or product launches.
