Kitcatt Nohr Alexander Shaw, Tullow Marshall Warren, Publicis Dialog and Craik Jones Watson Mitchell Voekel will fight it out for the business, with the successful agency to be named by the end of May.
The Employer Services Directorate is the employer facing part of Jobcentre Plus that provides businesses with advice on recruitment and help in posting vacancies.
The agencies will be tasked with producing plans to increase the number of vacancies advertised through Jobcentre Plus, as well as increasing brand awareness and influencing a positive brand perception among employers.
Marc Michaels, COI's director of direct and relationship marketing, said: "The COI and Jobcentre Plus were impressed with the standard of B2B creds submitted from COI's DM agency roster, but through careful analysis, have whittled them down from 11 on the long list to four pitching agencies."
Jobcentre Plus launched at the beginning of the month to cover the needs of jobseekers and people claiming benefit, replacing the Benefits Agency and Employment Service. The department's recent agency appointments include PHD to its Pensions Credit strategic media planning brief and Brahm to handle advertising and direct marketing to back the Jobcentre Plus account.
