The brand has tasked design agency Conran & Partners to refresh its image.

The strategy, spearheaded by chief executive Tariq Affara, also includes plans to introduce another 20 shops in the UK in the next 12 months.

Affara said: ‘We want to broaden the appeal of the brand. We want to reach out to a wider market and make our bars even more attractive to spend time in.'

He added that a modern and ‘cool' design will help push the chain into its next phase of growth.

The new look will be rolled in the chain's flagship site in London, before being rolled out across the UK and internationally.
