The elderly Mr Hadley changes continents and accents in a remake of Coca-Cola's classic "First taste" ad from 2006.
This time the red Coke has been replaced with Coca-Cola Zero Sugar, and the action relocated from America to Britain. The actor playing the original Mr Hadley – British-born American Nicolas Coster – holds onto his role but with a new accent. After having his first sip of the fizzy drink, he asks, "What else haven’t I tried", before embarking on adventures such as getting a tattoo, dancing in a Pride parade, and racing a motorbike down an expressway. The remake was created by McCann EMEA, whereas Wieden & Kennedy Amsterdam was responsible for the original spot.
