Coca-Cola to replace 'coke side of life' with 'open happiness'

LONDON - Coca-Cola looks set to drop its global "Coke side of life" strapline for "open happiness", after trademarking the slogan in the UK earlier this year.

The line could be rolled out as early as next week according to reports in the US, where Coke is developing an ad campaign for the upcoming NFL Super Bowl.

The introduction of the new slog would see the drinks giant replace "The Coke side of life", which it has used since 2006.

Coca-Cola has used numerous taglines over the years, most notably "Can't beat the real thing" and more recently "always Coca-Cola".
