The 12-year extension will see Coca-Cola sponsor the next three Olympic Games from the 2008 Beijing Games.
Coca-Cola's director of sports operations Peter Franklin told a media briefing in Beijing about the new contract with the International Olympic Committee, but would not disclose the value of the deal.
The sponsorship is understood to be one of the company's biggest, alongside its Fifa Worldwide sponsorship, and is estimated to be in the region of $60m (拢33.7m) for each four-year games cycle.
As part of the deal, Coca-Cola will give financial support and supply its products, including flagship brand Coca-Cola, Diet Coke, juices and water, to the 2010 Vancouver Winter Games, 2012 London Games and four other summer and winter games.
Coca-Cola first signed as sponsor of the Olympics in 1928 when the event was held in Amsterdam.
