A number of shops have been approached with the brief, but the pitch is not expected to be completed until early next year. Creativebrief is handling the process.

Coca-Cola has previously worked with Zone and DigitasLBi on digital advertising projects in the UK. DigitasLBi oversaw activity around Coca-Cola’s sponsorship of the London 2012 Olympic Games.

Mother is the brand’s lead creative agency and is not affected by the review.

David Martin, the European online director at Coca-Cola, said last month that brands should treat their virtual presences like physical stores and declutter.

Coca-Cola said that it did not comment on live pitches.
