Coca-Cola backs biggest-ever promotion with TV ad

Coca-Cola is backing its biggest-ever promotion, called 'Destination Hollywood', with a ten-second TV ad for Diet Coke, featuring model Caprice. The promotion offers consumers the chance to win trips to Hollywood and a movie premiere. It will run for eight weeks on 160 million packs of Diet Coke. The commercial, created by Lowe, breaks on October 6. It shows Caprice using a forklift truck to steal crates of the promotional packs and get the chance to walk up a Tinseltown red carpet. Media for the ad was by Universal McCann. The initiative continues Diet Coke's links with film. Earlier this year, Kim Basinger starred in a TV ad to back the brand's previous on-pack promotion.
