RT was appointed to deliver a number of elements at Coca-Cola's official hospitality facility at the Hospitality Centre in the Olympic Park. It will also organise hospitality at a hotel and a restaurant in central London, details of which have not yet been disclosed.
Ben Rodber, director of RT Marketing, said the Olympic period from 27 July – 12 August would be "a highly pressurised yet ultimately very enjoyable and rewarding summer".
He told Event: "Most hospitality events usually take place over a weekend or a week, but [during the Games] we’ll have 16 days back-to-back in multiple venues. It’s going to be an intense period and our partners and suppliers are in the same boat. We’ll overcome it through planning – we’re ready and could do the events next month if we had to. The creative is all in place; it’s the logistics that we’ll be working on from now on."
