The financial news service is looking for Europe's greenest entrepreneur for a new series that will be screened across Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia in the autumn.
Reality TV programme The Good Entrepreneur will track the final stages of the business competition, which aims to find a sustainable, responsible and innovative idea or business plan for a product or service.
Entrants will receive expert mentoring and advice from entrepreneurs including Martha Lane Fox, co-founder of Lastminute.com and Stelios Haji-Ioannou, chairman of EasyGroup.
Paul Maraviglia, vice-president and sales director, EMEA, at CNBC, said Allianz was a key commercial partner for CNBC and the competition would be supported by a cross-platform campaign to its audience of influential business leaders.
He added: "As part of the growth that we are seeing in branded content solutions and the desire for brands to engage with viewers in a deeper way, I believe we will increasingly see partnerships between broadcasters and third parties, whether they are associating themselves with relevant ‘reality' TV shows or in more straightforward programme sponsorships."
