Clipper Teas plans TV ad debut

The spots, created by ad agency WARL and Aardman Animations, focus on posit­ioning Clipper as a more approachable and inviting brand.

The ads feature animated teapot, spoon and tea characters and carry the tagline "Say hello". They are intended to drive trial of Clipper’s range of organic and Fairtrade hot drinks with a "money-back promise" promotion.

The ads will be aired solely during ITV's 'Daybreak' morning show, presented by Adrian Chiles and Christine Bleakley.

The activity follows a revamp of Clipper's packaging last year, to coincide with the brand's 25th anniversary.
