Save Our Selves (SOS), the worldwide campaign for a climate in crisis, has launched a 24-hour concert called Live Earth, to take place on 7 July across all seven continents.
The UK venue is yet to be confirmed but initial reports suggest either Hyde Park or Wembley Stadium.
SOS is headed up by Kevin Wall, chief executive of live entertainment provider Control Room, and politician Al Gore. Other partners include MSN and the Alliance for Climate Protection.
