The large-format backlit Gateway Locations will feature at key sites in Glasgow such as Anniesland Cross, Castle Street and Barrhead Road, on a series of new structures created in conjunction with the Mackintosh School of Architecture in Glasgow.
The win will add to Clear Channel's existing portfolio of landmark structures, such as Glasgow's Wandsworth Bridge Roundabout, Chester Road Roundabout in Manchester and The Millennium Arches in Birmingham.
Barry Sayer, chief executive of Clear Channel Outdoor UK, said the project "represented the future of outdoor advertising in the city".
The deal follows JCDecaux's win of the contract for around 80 Glasgow City Council-owned billboards in up to 65 locations around the city, subject to planning permission.
Elsewhere, Clear Channel has unveiled two super-sized additions to its Pinnacle division on the A40 at Western Avenue.
A new site at Hanger Lane, which offers 112.5 square metres of advertising space, is six times bigger than a standard 48-sheet, while a new 100 square-metre site at Gypsy Corner Gyratory is two and a half times bigger than a 96-sheet.
The dimensions of both are in proportion to the standard 48 and 96-sheets, which means regular creative can simply be enlarged.
