Claranet has linked up with affiliate network TradeDoubler to create an affiliate programme for its UK user base.
Claranet is the first UK ISP to be signed up by the company. The programme will target both corporate customers and private individuals.
Claranet is planning to create private programmes for its top affiliates, which will include higher commission rates when they have attracted a certain number of new registrations.
The agreement follows TradeDoubler's recent deal with ebookers.com. The online travel group is looking to increase its number of affiliates through an aggressive marketing campaign and TradeDoubler's network.
'Our focus is now on the traditional retailers as well as the large dotcoms. We want to attract a large network but also a quality network,' said Will Cooper, marketing manager at TradeDoubler.
