City AM targets wealthy readers with luxury supplements

City AM, the free daily business newspaper, is launching a series of luxury supplements over the next 12-months, targeting wealthy readers.

The first supplement will be published today (30 September) and features luxury watches.

The next, called 'Suits and the City', will be published on 21 October, followed by a Christmas supplement.

Harry Owen, commercial director at City AM, said: "We offer our advertisers a unique audience of the most affluent readers of any newspaper in the UK – this provides the perfect platform for luxury advertisers to reach their desired audience."

City AM readers have an average annual income of £66,000 compared to £62,000 for FT readers, according to YouGov research conducted in May.

City AM is distributed in and around London. It was launched in September 2005. According to audited figures, its average August circulation was 92,745.
