Ciao expands team and moves to new London office

LONDON – Ciao, the internet-based data collection and research firm, has appointed five new members of staff and opened a new UK office in Covent Garden to accommodate its growing team.

Ciao has appointed head of sales at Dealtime Rob Staunton as UK head of e-commerce and Ally Mills as e-commerce sales manager.

In Ciao Online Surveys, Nicola Robertson joins as strategic account manager from AC Nielsen and Rob Perry joins as online surveys sales manager. In addition, Jo Knight has joined to support the office in finance and administration.

Max Cartellieri, co-chief executive of Ciao, said: "Since opening our London office in early 2003, we have experienced rapid growth that has by far surpassed our expectations and made the relocation necessary."

He added: "We have great ambitions for 2005 and every confidence that, with the expansion of our team, we will be able to consolidate our position as the online surveys provider of choice in the UK, and the UK's leading shopping comparison and consumer community."

In addition to Ciao's Comparison Shopping and Online Surveys, the company operates high traffic consumer websites in Europe's five key markets.
