Churchill Insurance to sponsor Animal Heroes on ITV

Churchill Insurance will launch its first ITV sponsorship with 'Animal Heroes', which follows animals that work with British service men and women, and debuts tonight.

A series of eight idents have been created by ITN Productions, in collaboration with creative consultants WCRS, and will run alongside the three-part series.

The show closely follows The Royal Army Veterinary Corps (RAVC), who look after the 1,500 animals serving in the military.

The idents run for five seconds, 10 seconds or 15 seconds and were filmed at Battersea Dogs Home, where Churchill the dog and a trainer put some agile dogs through a canine assault course.

The producer is Kate Rowland, with creative Jess Scott-Hunter, and executive producer Kelly Davis, from ITN Productions.

The integrated package includes broadcast and online and was negotiated by ITV Commercial and MediaCom Beyond Advertising on behalf of Churchill Insurance.

Amanda Walker, Churchill's marketing director, said: "The idents really create a sense of how hard the dogs in the show have to work, and is perfectly matched to the creative content. There is a subtle humour which shines through and which we hope the viewing audience will enjoy watching."
