Chrysalis Radio's Galaxy 101 runs first television ad campaign

Chrysalis Radio's Galaxy 101 is running its first television ad

campaign, with the strapline 'The dance and R&B you salute'. Three

ten-second ads, which will run within the same commercial break, will

air for four weeks from February 25 on HTV, the channel that covers the

station's transmission area in the South West. The £100,000

campaign was created by advertising agency Barrington Johnson Lorains

and shows young people at the hair salon, in the car and the office

bopping to tunes such as Daniel Bedingfield's 'Gotta get through this',

Kosheen's 'Catch' and Ian Van Dahl's 'Castles in the sky'. The agency

has also created a generic campaign for the Galaxy network to air on MTV

later in the year.
