The company’s new headquarters in London Bridge is double the size of its former office on Wells Street in Soho. The move comes as a result of Chillisauce’s team doubling in size in the last three years to more than 100 members of staff, with plans to grow headcount further. Twenty new members of staff were recruited last month alone across the marketing and sales divisions.
For the same period Chillisauce has reported a 112.5% growth in total revenue, from £8m to £17m.
Kevin Dazely, managing director of Chillisauce, said the company outgrew its previous office. "We needed to expand for both space and people. This move shows commitment to both our future and our employees," he added.
James Baddiley, the company's chief executive who set up the company out of his bedroom in Clapham, said the decision to move wasn’t taken lightly. "The offices in Soho hold a lot of history and memories for myself and everyone in the company. However with the continuing growth we have been experiencing, we needed to embrace the next chapter and it felt like the right time for a change of scenery.
"There is a positive psychological impact to change and to a new working environment for everyone. It’s refreshing. It’s exciting."
