Chief planner at Leo Burnett takes job on WCRS Camelot brief

WCRS has hired Leo Burnett's planning director, Nick Johnston-Jones, to work as the board account planning director on its flagship Camelot account.

He will report to the executive planning director, Debbie Klein, and manage a team of three planners. Johnston-Jones replaces David Golding, who worked on the account for the past three years. Golding will now work on a range of other accounts at the agency.

Johnston-Jones worked at Burnett for four years, three of which were spent running the agency's McDonald's brief. He also worked on Heinz and Kellogg. He joined Burnett from Ogilvy & Mather in 1998, where he ran the Bupa account before switching to planning and working on COI Communications business as well as Eagle Star and Shell.

"Working on Camelot attracts me for the same reason I loved working on McDonald's, he said. "There are only a handful of brands with that kind of presence."
