4Creative, Channel 4’s in-house agency, has launched a TV spot to promote a series of documentaries and dramas for the broadcaster’s "mating season", which begins in June. It stars an old Galápagos tortoise called Arthur whose wife has just died. The spot follows Arthur as he re-enters the confusing world of dating in the 21st century, going out for dinner and clubbing, before meeting his match – a dog in a wheelchair. It ends with the line: "Modern dating: it’s complicated." The work was created by Chris Bovill, John Allison, Molly Manners and Alice Tonge, and directed by Bovill and Allison.
