Channel 4 "Crabbie's Grand National Festival" by 4Creative

Channel 4's new campaign to promote the Crabbie’s Grand National Festival retells the origins of the race with a punk makeover. The work, by 4Creative, energetically takes viewers back to the first-ever steeplechase – between the love rivals Cornelius O'Callaghan and Edmund Blake in Ireland in 1752. At the end of the spot, the action switches to modern times and, as the jockeys AP McCoy and Richard Johnson approach the course, a bystander notes that "nothing feckin’ changes". It was created by Chris Bovill and John Allison, and directed by Keith McCarthy through 4Creative.
