Chambord takes on croquet in Chapter Eight Games

French liqueur brand Chambord will host a pop-up games series next week (10-13 September) that will centre on 'flamingo' croquet.

The Chambord Chapter Eight Games will be hosted in east London at new roof terrace venue Proof, which is located atop of the Hothouse Building.

Local set designers and art directors Benny and Tom will design the interior. Inside guests will be able to explore a Chambord bar that will serve up a specially created Chapter Eight Cocktail, made with the brand’s Black Raspberry Liqueur.

Street food stalwart Le Bun has been enlisted to supply French-American burgers.

The eighth chapter of Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland has inspired the flamingo croquet concept, and also explains the experience’s name. Chambord promises guests will uncover surprises as they work their way around the branded croquet lawn.

Guests will be able to book 30-minute games of croquet, while a ticket can be exchanged for a complimentary Chambord Royale per person.

Agency Eulogy devised the concept, and it is managing the event from conception through to delivery.
