The caterer predicts its sales will rise by at least another 20% to more than £90 million by next year, and £145 million by 2017.

It said a key 2011 achievement was securing its five-year appointment by Historic Royal Palaces, worth an estimated £60 million.

CH&Co recently restructured into two arms covering business and industry, and commercial. Between them the arms now run six specialist branded businesses.

Tim Jones, chairman of CH&Co, said that the company's independence was crucial to future growth. "Our independence is fundamental to our success," he said. "Our clients love it and we intend to continue serving them in our own unique, independent style.

"The six specialist businesses are delivering excellent service to clients, but they have yet to achieve their full potential, so while our progress is pleasing we feel we still have more to achieve. We have not yet felt the full financial benefit of our contract successes over the last 18 months, so we can look to the future in both the short and long term with some confidence."
