The activation, now in its fourth year, promises to be the cruise operator's biggest yet and will see the introduction of a new wine bar, with wines hand-picked from Celebrity Cruises' on-board collection.
The experience aims to offer visitors a range of culinary delights from Celebrity Cruises’ award-winning menus. Three food and wine pairings will be available, designed exclusively for the festival by Celebrity Cruises' Michelin-starred vice president of culinary, Cornelius Gallagher. Dishes will include pistachio-crusted lamb chops and sunchoke velouté which will be paired with wines chosen by the brand’s wine ambassador Oz Clarke, who will also be hosting tastings on the 15th and 19th June.
To accompany the culinary delights, and as part of their ongoing partnership with Great British Chefs, Celebrity Cruises will be hosting an afternoon tea created by one of Britain’s youngest Michelin-starred chefs, Josh Eggleton. In July, Eggleton will be hosting a series of foodie events on board Celebrity Equinox, for guests during their cruise.
Jo Rzymowska, managing director at Celebrity Cruises UK & Ireland said: "This is now our fourth year at Taste of London and we can’t wait to showcase the new and exclusive menu this year, curated by Celebrity’s own Michelin starred chef. We have also teamed up with Great British Chefs to bring an even better taste of our award-winning culinary offering to our guests."
Celebrity Cruises’ Lawn Club will be open throughout Taste of London, which takes place in Regent's Park from 15-19 June.
