Celebrities in Marks & Spencer TV campaign

Graham Norton, Ronnie Barker, Denise Van Outen, Hermione Norris, Joan Collins, David Beckham, Cat Deeley and Sean Bean tell us what makes Christmas magic this year in Marks & Spencer's festive TV campaign, launching on November 8. M&S unveiled the ad as it announced interim results showing group profits up 30% before tax and turnover up 8% on last year for the 26 weeks ending September 28. The 40-second spot opens with a miniature Van Outen dressed as a Christmas Fairy, perched on a present. She asks: "What makes Christmas Magic?" After a series of seven vignettes the final shot returns to her, who repeats the question as the words 'Magic and Sparkle' appear. The ad will run until Christmas Eve. Creative is by Rainey Kelly Campbell Roalfe/Y&R and media is by Walker Media.
