Duffy effectively ran CBS' Scottish operation and his duties have now been taken on temporarily by Esther Morton.
Last Monday (30 November), CBS Outdoor restructured its UK operation and integrated its digital and traditional sales teams, with the loss of around 25 jobs.
Duffy's departure is one of number of high-profile CBS departures this year. In October, Tim Bleakley, managing director of sales and marketing, resigned to pursue "other commercial ventures" following a management restructure.
When Bleakley left, CBS Outdoor Ireland managing director Colin Leahy became general manager, sales and marketing for the UK, in addition to his Irish responsibilities and the company is looking for a UK managing director.
Clive Punter, former international chief executive, left the company in August and was replaced by chief development officer Antonio Alonso. Punter had been chief executive at CBS Outdoor International since 2007.
