
In his new role Gibb will be responsible for driving CBS Outdoor's business in Scotland and manage advertising sales for the media owner across the region's buses and national rail.
Gibb will lead a team of 12 people and will report to Mike Brennan, regional sales director at CBS Outdoor.
Most recently Gibb was the founder and managing director of marketing consultancy Brand3. Before he founded Brand3 Gibb was a partner at GRP from 2000 to May 2009 and managed its Toyota account.
Peter Charlton, national sales director at CBS Outdoor, said Gibb's "invaluable experience will be instrumental in maximising growth across our market leading digital and out-of-home assets" among direct and agency clients.
Gibb said with some of the biggest media agencies having regional offices in Scotland and the growth in importance of local creative and digital agencies the country is a "key area for revenue growth" for CBS Outdoor.
