
The deal includes both broadcast and online activity. Broadcast elements will include sponsorship of Eurosport's coverage of the qualifying games and of the channel’s key football programmes, EuroGoals and Inside Euro '08. Castrol is also developing new content with Eurosport, including EuroIndex, which will link to Castrol’s role as Official Statistics Sponsor at the tournament by providing viewers with the latest news and key stats from the qualifiers.
Online activity will focus on driving traffic to , which will host a range of content and an in-depth database of statistics based on team performance at the tournament. Eurosport's Yahoo! tie-up ensures Castrol will have a digital footprint in all of its key European markets.
