- Carlton Online is targeting the UK's soaring interest in food and restaurants with the launch of its new Website, simplyfood.co.uk.
The site, the third launched in recent weeks by Carlton, carries a database of thousands of recipes, wine guides and tastings, nutritional facts, a searchable restaurant guide and specialist sections on organic food and chocolate.
The simplyfood restaurant guides carries details of restaurants from across the UK.
Star input to the site comes from the likes of Jean-Christophe Novelli and Raymond Blanc, who are among the contributors to the site.
Wine expertise comes from Roz Cooper, author of The Wine Book, Spirits and Liqueurs and The Wine Almanac.
Charlotte Tookey, producer of simplyfood.co.uk, said: "It's a totally comprehensive online resource, backed by authoritative experts in each area. But we've made sure it's completely approachable, and even the most novice cook will find something useful here."
